Macquarie Telecom Announces Strategic Partnership with Greater China Telco Leader

Collaboration agreement targeted to deliver seamless network connecting throughout Asia

14 January 2008, Singapore: Macquarie Telecom, a leading supplier of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions, today announced that it will expand its footprint in the Asia Pacific region, through its latest partner collaboration with Greater China telco leader – CPCNet. This alliance interconnects the Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks to offer customers of both companies enhanced network services and a wider Asian reach. Through this latest collaboration, the company looks to tap on CPCNet’s extensive range of communications products and managed services, with emphasis on Greater China and Asia. According to research firm AMI, Asian SMBs’ spending on telecommunications will be over US$50 billion. Macquarie Telecom believes that strong carrier partner relations will maximise its regional growth in this market, especially in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong, where it has already enjoyed great successes.
