With mobile handsets becoming increasing sophisticated, so to is their usage. Able to send and receive images, both still and video, as well as access emails and office files, today's mobile phone plays a key role in enterprise mobility strategies.

Enabling you to keep pace with this changing mobile environment, Macquarie Telecom has released an SMS broadcasting tool - MessageNet. With no upfront charges and no contracts, this tool enables you to send SMS and MMSs to mobile phones from your desktop for a simple, variable price per message.

Completely user friendly, the MessageNet front end can be in the form of a URL or even a button on Outlook.

The functionality of MessageNet goes well beyond simple ad-hoc messaging thanks to the flexibility of the software which enables it to integrate with most databases.

MessageNet customers are improving their business process management (BPM) and reducing their fixed-to-mobile spend by using MessageNet for the following applications:

  • Credit and collections reminder notices

  • Notifications to customers and franchisees of price changes/new products, special promotions and more
