A recommended Firewall solution is built around the Defence in Depth concept with the integration of 2 different vendors and Secure Enforcement Zones built into the Customer Solution. Models and vendors are able to be chosen based on the Security Functionality and throughput required.
Security Incident Manager - Correlation Engine
To monitor Layer 4 or Layer 7 Intelligent Services such as our DDOS Protection, Network Intrusion Prevention and Host Based Intrusion Detection Products . They are controlled and underpinned by our Correlation Engine, which classifies all events real-time, applies the appropriate level of threat to the Event and then performs an action to either Alert or Report on the Event to our SOC.
Certification Schedule
Our Managed Security Services feed into our Certification Schedule. These accreditations define our ongoing policies, processes, architecture and our ITIL based service management framework. Current security accreditations include ASIO T4, ISO 270001, PCI-DSS Layer 1 Service Provider and DSD Secure Gateway rated to Highly-Protected. Our security operations Staff are individually vetted and security cleared by Government to the level of Highly-Protected Clearance
Incident Management Framework
Managed Security is not only about deploying and supporting secure and robust technologies, but around the processes that are in place if an incident was to occur. Our SLG guarantees that we will alert you if a Service Affecting Security Incident was to occur.
Macquarie Telecom's Security Event and Incident Management Process is based on the ASCI-33 and PSM Guidelines that are defined by Government and are very closely tied and delivered according to our accreditation requirements of both ISO:27001 and DSD Secure Gateway. Events are classified into one of 5 categories, with appropriate levels of mitigation and response applied to each event.
