• When a user requests your URL or computer name, Server Load Balancing directs user traffic to the least busy server;
• Server Load Balancing provides automatic server fail-over protection. During normal operation, traffic is distributed to multiple servers. If a server fails, it is automatically taken out of service. The remaining servers handle all traffic, with no service interruption;
• Using Server Load Balancing, you can perform a server upgrade or maintenance without any service disruption to your web site.
