Managed Firewall Service (MFS)

The security of your network is critical to your business operation. The management of the firewall as a last mile of defence for your network is both complex and challenging. You can offload firewall management to Macquarie Telecom, allowing you to focus on your business operation with peace of mind. We will manage the managed firewall configuration, conduct periodical firewall scanning, analyse and respond to security alarms to ensure that no unauthorized access to your Local Area Network (LAN) happens.

We offer two Managed Firewall options, Network Managed & CPE Based. The network managed solution will enable you to create a VPN access to the Internet, without the need to subscribe for a separate internet access to your head office or data centre. Internet traffic simply flows through your private IP VPN cloud through the Network Based Managed Firewall to the WWW.

Network Managed Firewall Service (NMFS) saves cost of firewall CPE hardware, updates and skilled staff to maintain. Designed using leading edge Stateful Firewall Technology the NMFS primary function is to protect against unauthorised access (hacking) in to the customers network.

The CPE Based solution is well suited for internet connectivity to individual sites.
