MPLS (Multi-protocol Label Switching) security is similar to that provided by Frame Relay and ATM. It is designed to provide a secure networking environment, whilst minimising the risks associated numerous potential threats.

Your data is completely secure throughout the Macquarie Telecom network via virtual routers tunnelling and the use of MPLS labels. Throughout this process, no component of your VPN (Virtual Private Network) is visible to unauthorised entities. Access to each virtual router-forwarding table (VRF) is strictly controlled.
