New Capability

• Previously, sites with no Quality of Service (QoS) access (eg. Best Effort grade DSL) had no QoS setting.
• New traffic mapping has now been developed to map non-QoS to “Time Optimised” Classes of Service (CoS). This means non-QoS access sites can now be deployed with other QoS enabled sites.

^^ The speeds on the 'Full Throttle' options are not guaranteed. The actual data speed is dependent on a number of factors including distance from the exchange, size and quality of copper pair and interference. If delivery is via Telstra DSLAM, the ADSL1 speed is 8M/384k

• Delivered via SHDSL or ADSL (Annex M in ADSL2+ enabled exchange areas)
• Symmetric services are available on all DSL enabled exchanges

Asymmetric Services

• New ‘Full Throttle’ option (up to 24Mbps/1Mbps– maximum speed depends on distance from exchange and technology availability)
• ADSL enabled exchange- maximum speed up to 8Mbps/768kbps
• ADSL 2+ enabled exchange- maximum speed up to 24Mbps/1Mbps
