The Opportunity
With limited IT resources, Emerson Network Power needed a solution that allowed for the
day-to-day management of the network to be taken off their hands, so their staff could focus
on application support. In addition, they wanted a real-
time view of what was going on in their network so they could make fast and informed decisions.
The Solution
Macquarie Telecom provided significant savings for Emerson by providing a totally independent
solution.
The solution comprised of a fully managed Data Network with a combination of private IP/VPNs
and Frame Relay.
Visibility and control of their network was provided through Macquarie Telecom's Data Network
management tool InView. This means they now understand what is going on in their network and
can make informed decisions quickly.
