Cloud Load Balancer

The Virtual Cloud Load Balancer allows you to meet predictable or even unpredictable performance peaks by dynamically activating (or “bursting”) and deactivating Cloud Servers when required.

Together with your Macquarie Telecom Cloud Architect, you define the threshold to activate your incremental Always Ready Cloud Servers. You can use the Cloud Load Balancer to burst not only from your cloud servers but also from other servers including those in your own data centre.

High Availability

Our Cloud Load Balancers are inbuilt with an Active/Passive HA Architecture. All active traffic sessions are synched from the Active to the Passive Load Balancer to minimise disruption to your users.

Dynamic Provisioning

You are only charged for the Cloud Servers once they have been activated, and for only as long as they are active.

Burst from anywhere – Our Cloud Load Balancers can monitor the world’s largest range of integrated servers including:

  • Always Ready Cloud Servers - Burst within the Cloud
  • Managed Servers - Burst within Macquarie Telecom’s Managed Data Centre
  • Colocated Servers - Burst with any other server in Macquarie Telecom’s Data Centre
  • Securely to your on premise servers - Burst over IP VPN or WAN, from YOUR Data Centre
