What is Customer Club?

The Macquarie Telecom Customer Club has been designed to recognise and reward our employees whilst promoting a culture of ‘Personal Accountable Service’ to our external customers.

At Macquarie Telecom, we believe that the only judge of outstanding service is the customer.

Unlike other recognition programs, Customer Club is unique in that only customers can nominate. When nominating staff, our customers are asked to detail how they have made a material difference to their company and how they have supported the service promises that form the essence of our customer care.

Staff inducted into ‘Customer Club’ are clearly identified at Macquarie Telecom, the prestige that a customer nomination carries for us is the backbone to driving higher levels of service leadership. At our annual conference, the Customer Club meet and hear from ‘best practice’ leaders and customers themselves on trends in service excellence

Year on year we’ve raised our expectations for the percentage of customer facing staff we expect to be nominated into Customer Club - no short order for a company where nearly half of our staff are in direct contact with customers.
