Macquarie Telecom and it's people have won the following awards:

2008 - Winner –
World Communication Awards "Best Customer Care" - Judged by a panel of
fifteen independent telecommunications experts in London, Macquarie Telecom
won the international award ahead of other large Telecommunications
providers including Deutsche Telecom and BT.
The Award recognises businesses that have successfully designed and
implemented a customer care strategy that has produced tangible and
quantifiable results. Macquarie Telecom’s win is acknowledgement on a global
scale of the success of its customer service strategy, built around the
delivery of Personal Accountable Service. It also recognises the company’s
industry leading customer retention rate of more than 95 per cent year on
year.

- 2006 - Winner – SPAN Chairman's Award - Macquarie Telecom set a new
benchmark for industry partnerships with its alliance with Message Stick
Telecommunications – Australia’s first Indigenous telecommunications provider. The
relationship extends beyond a traditional commercial partnership. As both mentor and
partner to Message Stick, Macquarie Telecom has pushed the boundaries of corporate and
social responsibility.
- 2006 - Finalist - SPAN Innovation – Large Company - Macquarie Telecom:
Tools for increased visibility and cost control. Macquarie Telecom’s FleetView and
VolumeControl products are innovative, web-based management tools that give businesses
and government organisations increased transparency of, and greater cost control over,
their mobile telephone fleet.

2005 - Winner – SPAN Telecommunications Ambassador - Maha Krishnapillai: As
Founder and President of the Asia Pacific Carriers Coalition, Maha Krishnapillai works
with Government, regulators, industry associations and key industry influencers to effect
change and drive pro-competition policy benefiting the Australian communications sector
and the Asia-Pacific region. His responsibilities with Macquarie Telecom include government
liaison, regulatory affairs, carrier relations and strategic marketing for Australia and
the Asia-Pacific region.

2005 - Finalist - SPAN Excellence in Competition and Growth - Large Company
- Macquarie Telecom was the first carrier to achieve “DSD (Defense Signals Directorate)
Gateway Certification” and to be certified to “ASIO T4 Highly Protected” status.
